During
the school year, we offer Children's Sunday School classes concurrently with our
9:00am worship service, for children ages 3 through 6th grade. Classes provide
opportunities to learn and experience the Christian faith on an age appropriate
level.
In
the summer, a "Summer Sunday School" is offered during the second half
of the combined 9:30am worship service, for grades K through 4.
During
the school year at our 11:00 am worship service, children (grades K through 4)
are excused at the mid-point of the service. At this time, an adult volunteer
leads the children in a worship experience/activity designed specifically for
their learning level. Parents may meet their children in the Music room (top
level) following the service. This program is not designed to provide a full
Sunday School experience, like the one that is offered at the 9:00 hour, but is
offered as a way of making the worship experience more meaningful for children
who are present.
A
special program for children age 4 through 5th grade is offered on
Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30 during the school year. A family style dinner is provided followed by an
alternating combination of lessons and crafts, and always fun and
fellowship. Contact Beth Kalmes or the church office for more
information.
We host a Vacation
Bible School (VBS) each summer (usually the last week in June). This
program features crafts, music, bible stories, and snacks and is open to the
community. Look for more information beginning in May.
